1. Who is involved

The Istanbul Leather and Leather Products Exporters' Association (İDMİB), operating the Turkish Leather program, sponsors the initiative and determines its sourcing objectives. Market Me Canada Inc. operates this website and administers the collection and assessment of preliminary U.S. buyer interest under its appointment by İDMİB. Each organization is responsible for personal information under its control.

Privacy questions and requests about this website may be sent to hello@marketme.us. We will route a request to the appropriate organization when necessary.

2. Information we collect

• Required business identity and contact information: name, company and business email.
• Required sourcing profile: buyer type, product categories and type of interest.
• Optional information: role, company website, telephone number and sourcing brief.
• Technical and security information: submission time, source URL, campaign parameters, security-verification result and limited request metadata used to prevent abuse.
• Optional analytics information, but only after you accept analytics cookies.

Please do not include personal, confidential, payment, health or government-identification information in the sourcing brief.

3. Why we use the information

• To review your sourcing requirements and buyer profile.
• To identify potential commercial fit and ask useful follow-up questions.
• To plan relevant manufacturer introductions and buyer-program conversations.
• To protect the form, prevent abuse, maintain records and troubleshoot delivery.
• With your permission, to measure site usage and improve the buyer journey.

Depending on the applicable law and activity, processing may be based on your request and consent, our legitimate operational interests in administering a B2B sourcing program, and legal or security obligations. Where consent is the basis, you may withdraw it for future processing.

4. Who receives it and where it may be processed

Authorized Market Me personnel and relevant İDMİB program personnel may review a submission. Information may also be handled by service providers supporting hosting, bot protection, form storage, workflow automation, email delivery and—only if accepted—analytics. Current service categories include Cloudflare infrastructure and security, Google Workspace/Apps Script workflow services, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. Clarity is configured to mask the complete buyer-interest form.

Because this is a cross-border U.S.–Türkiye buyer program administered from Canada, information may be processed in Canada, the United States, Türkiye and locations used by the relevant service providers. Those locations may apply different privacy laws.

5. Retention

New buyer-interest records are assigned a review date one year after submission. At that review, the information should be deleted, anonymized or retained only when there is an active commercial conversation, a documented operational need, or a legal requirement. Security and system records may follow shorter or longer schedules appropriate to their purpose.

6. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you are located, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent or information about processing and transfers. Contact hello@marketme.us with the subject “Privacy request.” We may need to verify your identity before acting.

Analytics is optional. You can reject it initially or change your choice at any time using the button below.

7. Security and updates

We use access controls, encrypted transport, bot protection, rate limiting and bounded input handling to reduce risk. No internet system is risk-free. We may update this notice when the program, vendors or legal requirements change; the effective date and version above identify the notice that applies.
